This character replaced the original '''Starblaze''', and I may have overcompensated a bit with her. Her stats were a lot better than the original's, but her powers were different enough that she wouldn't be a carbon copy. I never did mention anywhere that she was a mutant; the original had been as well, but the Marvel Universe of the time was still very much caught up in the "anti-mutant hysteria", and one of my plans had been to have her out herself and dare someone to make an issue out of it. Given the state of the Marvel Universe today, I think that she'd definitely fall in the "what, I'm a mutant so that means I'm not human? Suuuuure." camp.
