'''Champions Online''' came into existence in 2009, and I actually picked up the game not long after release-mainly because I had a few bucks to spend and figured, "why not?" I had no intention of it being my main game-City of Heroes scratched that itch. Nevertheless, there were good things about the game, and I stopped by once in a while-particularly once it went "free to play". Over time, I've managed to amass a respectable stable of characters for the game, and while I am currently uninvolved with any of the supergroups there (CO's version of guilds), I still enjoy trying all the possibilities that the character creation system is capable of offering.

Many of the heroes got to take advantage of the Nemesis system in the game, allowing the player to design the archenemies of the heroes. These villains have clashed with the heroes time and again, and only extraordinary efforts can put them in prison for good!

For a short time after the closure of City of Heroes, I attempted to try to remake the magic with a supergroup there-but my own shortcomings and time commitments drove it to an early end. Still, it was a nice concept.
