'''Phantom''' was a character I put together because of a desire to have a lone-vigilante sort of character. I was inspired a lot by a "What If?" storyline where Daredevil had killed the Kingpin, ended up dead himself by the end, and had the Kingpin's estranged son take over the role of Daredevil-using tech in the mask to simulate the hypersenses. So I figured this could be applied to a costume in general; solid black tights with a solid black full mask with red eye lenses. I would eventually use a lot of the ideas I had for this character for a [[Spectral Fighter|City of Heroes character]], including the general look.
