=Personality=
Jesken is probably as close to a "white knight" as one is likely to find in the Republic military. He'll take outrageous risks to save a single life, and if he has the choice to save one or the other, he'll go for both. He is unwilling to sacrifice lives if at all possible, and chooses to do what is right rather than what is simplest-which has caused General Garza no end of headaches. But he gets the job done, and for the General, that's what matters.

Jesken has chosen not to pursue romantic relationships within the military-or anyone who might even be remotely affiliated with the military-after a tragedy on a mission where he could not save everyone-and made the wrong decision. Jesken views that as his greatest mistake, and has redoubled his efforts to ensure that not only will this mistake never happen again, but situation that causes that sort of thing never happens again, either.

=Abilities=
Jesken's training has been primarily as a vanguard of an assault. First in, first hit. His equipment and training focuses on the fact that he will be up front, up close, and if he's not close, ways to GET close. Jesken's all about surviving the alpha strike-and buying time for others to mow down the enemy.

=Equipment=
As the leader of the elite SpecForce Infantry Squad 236, codenamed Havoc Squad, Jesken has access to the best that the Republic military can offer. Combat armor, superior blaster rifles, portable missile launchers, and more. Combined with his training, this equipment makes him a match even for a Sith Lord.

Havoc is usually deployed under his command via a [[wookiee:BT-7 Thunderclap|BT-7 Thunderclap]] Rapid Assault ship. The ship is roomy enough to hold briefings for small platoons of commandos.

=Trivia=
Jesken's backstory is the story of the Republic Trooper in the ''Star Wars: The Old Republic'' game. His choices have almost been religiously Light Side (with one notable exception) and in keeping with the personality described above.
