<div style="color:white; background-color: #cc8811">Headquarters</div>
The original Hyperion Force base, located beneath Hyperion Way in Atlas Park, was a single office in one of the many subterranean warrens below the city. Although the site was continuously expanded, when the supergroup moved its headquarters to a new facility in 2007, the original base was remaindered to the Hyperion Foundation and shuttered. This was in fact an elaborate subterfuge; the site was further modernized, expanded, and even moved further below Atlas Park (the old office becoming a teleport relay site). The site was used as cold storage facility and data warehouse, but most importantly, was used as the site to develop future technologies, specifically the next generations of the Hyperion Force supercomputer.

The facility was eventually utilized as the primary base for Hyperion Force after the main headquarters was destroyed in August 2008. However, after encountering multiple security breaches as well as the overcrowding of the underground region of Atlas Park, the team relocated to an undisclosed location off of Talos Island in an undersea facility in March 2011.

<div style="color:white; background-color: #cc8811">Lovelace Core</div>
Previously, all supercomputers used by Hyperion Force were of the Microft family (including the most recent version 4), built from technologies derived from Masterson Industries and even Crey Enterprises. The current Hyperion Force supercomputer does not follow that design lineage. Following the recovery of the proto-computing technology in the Ouroboros episode of September 2007, it quickly became clear that Microft system could not execute this unfamiliar technology. To this end, the Microft system was engaged to design a system that could execute this technology. The result of this effort was the Mycroft Core series, of which three generations were architected and completed. This project ran in parallel to the design of Mycroft 5.0 at Hyperion Force headquarters, which was destroyed in the explosion that annihilated that facility in August of 2008.

The Mycroft Core took stewardship of Hyperion Force following that disaster, and was significantly linked to the leader of Hyperion Force, Arc Tangent. When he left the group in early 2009, the greater portion of the Mycroft Core was disabled, and a successor series was created: the Lovelace Core.

The Lovelace Core went online in April 2009, although it did not reach full operational status until May. It immediately began designing its successor system; the design phase was complete in time for the relocation of the Force to its new facility; this accelerated its projected construction substantially, allowing Lovelace 2.0 to go live in March 2011. It is the tenth major supercomputer for Hyperion Force: the previous five generations of the Microft system, the three versions of the Mycroft Core, and the two versions of the Lovelace Core.

What is thought of as the Hyperion Force computer system is actually three major systems. The Lovelace Core itself is an artificial intelligence that oversees the operation of all three systems, primary roles are stewardship, analysis, and strategic planning. The Sherrinford Core was the first of the new computer systems following the Ouroboros episode and was integrated into later generations. This system handles almost all of the day-to-day transactional functions of the supergroup, including base operations, resource handling, communications, and security. The Sigerson Core was the second system developed, and handles data warehousing and archive functions.

Also located near the Core is an Aspect of the Pillar of Ice and Flame, which permits members to access the timestream. Every use of the Pillar is logged by the Core to ensure that unauthorized tampering of the time stream is discouraged.

<div style="color:white; background-color: #cc8811">Telepads</div>
The current facility relies primarily on teleportation to permit heroes to get to and from the base. Entrance is through a base portal as defined by the FBSA as a requirment for all supergroups operating in Paragon City. Exit can be performed the same way, but more often the team will utilize assorted teleporters in the base.

These pads are in two sections of the base. The South Bay contains pads that will send the heroes to Atlas Park, Galaxy City, Skyway City, Steel Canyon, Talos Island, Independence Port, Founder's Falls, and Peregrine Island. The West Bay's pads cover the rest of Paragon City, as well as Pocket D. Additionally, between the two bays is a special teleporter designed for extradimensional transport.

<div style="color:white; background-color: #cc8811">Medbay</div>
As part of the transition, equipment from the specBio projects were placed into storage, and a fully-equipped operating suite built, complete with AutoDoc support (dubbed "Dr. Watson"), supplementing the Intensive Care suite and standard dispensary. Two recovery bays supplement these suites.

Later additional construction allowed for medical laboratory research, and quarantine facilities in case of exotic pathogens.

<div style="color:white; background-color: #cc8811">Dock</div>
Hyperion Force has a history of having alternative routes out of its base aside from the teleporters and base portals. In the previous base, a small craft hangar was added to accommodate and service small aircraft. Originally, this was a
Eurocopter Dauphin, but was upgraded to a Longbow Flyer in early 2008. The hangar's roof opened up to a shaft that eventually exited at a location somewhere in Perez Park.

With the move to Talos Island, using aircraft as an alternate exit became impractical; instead, a submersible docking facility was added to the new base. The entry and exit tunnel has a number of defenses to ensure that this tunnel cannot be used to gain unapproved entry to the base.

<div style="color:white; background-color: #cc8811">Lounge</div>
During most of the current iteration of the Force's existence, the official meeting room was often ignored for more informal meetings in the lounge area. As a result, it was decided in early design phases to merge the two together for the new facility. Doing so removed the extensive travel within the base should an emergency situation arise requiring an official briefing. As with the previous lounge areas, there is a casual area as well as a bar with assorted drinks from water, to soda, to beer, to mead (leftover from Draygoth's time with the team), to more exotic concoctions gathered across time and space.

<div style="color:white; background-color: #cc8811">Vault</div>
With the increased presence of Hyperion Force at the facility, it was necessary to have a place for the tech-geared heroes to be able to do their work-and additional store objects of importance or danger. The Vault was built with this in mind, allowing both repair and invention as well as the necessary storage.

A small safe is also located in the Vault area, containing a mystical card. These two objects are the only objects to have survived the total destruction of the original iteration's base.

<!-- Archiving former HF base descriptions here for the present
The Original Base
In a stark contrast to it's humble beginnings, the Hyperion Force base is now a fully equipped and operational base worthy of any superpowered undertakings. It has access to the city's teleportation technology and is capable of transporting Force members to virtually any part of the city in addition to safely force teleporting them back to base should they be require so.

Mycroft 4:The Supercomputer
A reminder of the Force’s roots, Mycroft 4 was a gift from the faltering Masterson Technologies, and a quiet “Screw You” to the mega-conglomerate that absorbed it: Crey Enterprises. In early 2003, Mycroft 4, or Mike, was the height of super-hero gauge computer technologies, one of Royce Masterson’s crowning achievements. Originally intended for Justice United, the final board members of Masterson Technologies gifted it to the Force rather than hand it over to Crey.

Mike governs most base operations: 24 hour internal surveillance, tracing team member locations and communications, initiating the auto-doc programs for the med-bay, monitoring life signs and transporting them to the base’s medical facilities when they reach critical conditions or to the nearest hospital if the on site facilities are inadequate.

Though misused and abused in the past by members of the Force (knowingly and unknowingly), Mike has recently been taken over by Ignatius Byron, The Cobalt Streak. Iggy has since used his influence in Paragon to make some minor improvements on Mike; the most obvious being a separate partition for members to use without accessing the more sensitive parts of the base computer.

The Medbay
Practically an in house hospital, the Hyperion Force medbay is fully equipped to handle nearly any medical procedures. Similar to the public hospitals of Paragon City, the medbay is equipped with a functional teleport system that is connected to the supercomputer. Any Force operatives whose vital signs drop below safe levels are immediately teleported here for medical treatment.

The Lounge
The lounge is another addition to the base since it's overhaul. Fitted with a small bar and basic kitchen, chairs and couches galore, and the DVD room, it is the place for the Force to meet and greet while working or relaxing.

At any time the bar is stocked with various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and the cieling speakers softly play

Tucked into the north-eastern corner across the hallway access is a small zen garden being kept by Iggy.

The Dojo
A recent addition to the Hyperion Force base, the dojo was built more or less due to the demands of Kei Seishou, the resident training and fitness freak. Nevertheless, it's utilized by many of the more physical members of the Force for both fitness exercises as well as sparring. In addition to the main sparring area, the dojo is equipped with male and female changing rooms with equipped with personal lockers and shower chambers. There is also a large screen near the reception desks for others to view sparring matches.

The Workshop
Outfitted with state of the art equipment, the workshop is the birthplace of many of the gadgets and gizmos spotted on Hyperion Force personnel. Additionally, the workshop also spots several storage vaults for members to keep useful salvages as well as devices to augment their abilities. Quite commonly Hyperion Force tech heads Revibe, Vellias and Aine Yuri can be spotted here.

Details of the Hyperion Way facility
<div style="color:white; background-color: #cc8811">Telepads</div>
Following the transfer of the headquarters back to the cold storage site, the former cryonics/cryotronics laboratory was converted to house the bulk of the supergroup's telepads, supplementing the existing transport chamber. Hyperion Force's telepads service all existing beacons in and around Paragon City, including one servicing Pocket D. The telepads are divided into the West and South bays; the greater number of pads are in the West Bay, while more frequently used pads are in the South Bay.

An unintended side-effect of moving the pads into the cold storage facility is that the large teleport bays are significantly colder than the rest of the base, due to the nitrogen conduits that run through the floor and walls.
<div style="color:white; background-color: #cc8811">Lounge</div>
The original Hyperion Force office was rumored to have been a speak-easy in Prohibition-Era Paragon City. This rumor was ultimately disproved (following a bet), but as a nod to this wager, the original Hyperion Force lounge is modeled with recovered vintage-era twenties stylings and furnishings, including its mixing counter and recycled brickwork (created by the Striga Isle Brickworks in 1909). The lounge also feaures a dancefloor and a state-of-the-art sound system.

In late 2008, a larger lounge was constructed to more modern tastes, with assorted television LCDs joining the larger dancefloor and sound systems.

<div style="color:white; background-color: #cc8811">L'Arcane's Temple</div>
In February 2009, in repayment for a favor done by Arc Tangent, the magus L'Arcane bequeathed a mystical temple to Hyperion Force. The temple was magically brought from its original location and seamlessly added onto the existing facility. While much of the temple remains a mystery even to the members of Hyperion Force, it is known that the temple is a locus for considerable magical energies.

In addition to the libaries of mystical tomes contained within, there is also an arcane power source that can also serve as a prison to disembodied spirits; for a time, it imprisoned the daemon Vetis after possessing the hero Nivera. The prison utilized the arcane power of such entities to add magical power to the base. At this time, the prison is empty.

After an intrusion attempt by the assassin Ebon Thunderbolt, it was discovered that the Temple was capable of preventing entry to casual intruders. It was unable to repel the entry of the Taun'Ra deity known as Seraph, although it was unclear if that was because of the entity's power, or if it was because the entity had been dragged inside by Stellar Protector.

A later event in the Temple allowed the mystically inclined members of the Force to extend the Temple's protective magics to the entire base, instead of just the Temple. This, combined with the technological safeguards, prevents unauthorized instrusion to the base by virtually any means.

<div style="color:white; background-color: #cc8811">The Gauntlet</div>
The Gauntlet is an obstacle course frequently used to evaluate heroes new to the Force. It has undergone a number of incarnations, but almost always includes obstacles to hinder fliers, quantum towers to hinder Kheldians, and chainguns that fire rubber bullets to keep runners on their toes. Evaluation is often not as much physical as to see how the heroes deal with stress and how they react to changing circumstances in a short period of time.
Inspired by the dojo in the original base (having been demanded at that time by Kei Seishou), a dojo was put into place at the back end of the Gauntlet. This area is utilized by many of the more physical members of the Force for both fitness exercises as well as sparring. In addition to the main sparring area, the dojo is equipped with male and female changing rooms with equipped with personal lockers and shower chambers. There are also a number of trophy cases containing mementoes of previous Hyperion Force successes.
