'''Energion''' was envisioned as a power-armor inventor; a natural leader, at least on a small scale. He didn't use a helmet on his armor; instead of cybernetics, an invention allowed the armor to read signals going down the central nervous system and interpreted them to use the various subsystems in the armor.

His backstory had included inventing the robotic [[Electrode III]]-although he had no clue that it had been animated by an alien intelligence.

The stats from MSH include three different versions of his armor. The first was his original suit; the second, an interim version used after a redesign after a major shakeup; and the third was the "finalized" version, which borrowed a lot from the ''Iron Man''' comics at the time.

It's worth noting that this character heavily inspired [[Invictar|a character I later created in City of Heroes]].

'''Equipment''': Energion's powers come from his battlesuit; without wearing a suit, his stats are the first set above. He has used two different versions of his armor. The original could fly by use of a null-gravity field, at Incredible speeds of 300 MPH. He also uses an energy rifle hooked to a slim energy pack on his back. The weapon does Incredible damage. Finally, the armor itself gives Steele Remarkable protection from attack. This original armor gave him the second set of stats above.

His current suit is at once more limited and more powerful, shown in the third set of stats above. The armor provides Remarkable protection, as before; however, it is now limited to Good speeds (120 MPH). However, the suit is designed for modular use; it can handle two major modules and six minor modules. One of the major modules is usually the energy rifle, which deals Incredible damage. Minor modules usually have an upper power ranking of Excellent, while major modules can go as high as Amazing; major plug-ins are attached to the energy pack; two minor plug-ins are upon the forearms, while the other four are on the thighs. The final component is a helmet which has Remarkable sensory gear, and provides life support of Incredible rank.

'''Other Abilities''': Aside from his engineering skills, he is also skilled at electronics and slight of hand. How he acquired the latter skill is unknown.
